These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and ForgeTech (“ForgeTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for your use of the Mooden mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android, including Mooden Premium.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you obtained it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply. For billing, refunds, and store account issues, Apple’s or Google’s rules control.

You must be able to enter a binding contract. The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian as required by law. In the EEA/UK you must meet the local digital age of consent where that is required.
Mooden is a personal journaling and self-reflection tool. It is not:
You should not use Mooden to delay or replace care from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or you think you may harm yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a crisis line in your country immediately.
Nothing in the App is a warranty of improved mood, health, or outcomes.
Subject to these Terms, ForgeTech grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial journaling, in accordance with the store rules (including Apple’s “Usage Rules”).
You may not:
ForgeTech and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the App, trademarks, and related intellectual property. These Terms do not sell the App to you.
You retain ownership of the text, photos, audio, and other content you enter (“User Content”).
You are solely responsible for User Content and for keeping a backup if it matters to you. Mooden stores User Content on your device. Optional Google Drive backup stores a copy in your Google account. ForgeTech does not claim ownership of your journal.
You grant ForgeTech only the limited technical permission needed to operate features on your device (for example to save, display, export, or—if you enable it—upload a backup to your Drive). We do not use User Content for advertising.
Device loss, uninstall, OS reset, or Clear all data can permanently delete local User Content unless you have a backup you control.
Core journaling (logging moods, notes, and related on-device features we designate as free) does not require a ForgeTech account.
Mooden Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription (and/or other in-app products we may offer) that unlocks paid features. Paid features currently include PDF journal export. We may add or change Premium features; we will describe them in the App and on the store product page.
Free data export: You may export a CSV of your entries without Premium so you can take a copy of your data.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The renewal cost is the then-current subscription price shown in the store.
After purchase, you can manage and cancel subscriptions here:
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Prices, duration (for example monthly or yearly), and the title of the subscription are shown in the App Store / Play product, the paywall, and at the time of purchase. ForgeTech does not collect your card number inside Mooden.
Refunds, billing errors, and family sharing (if available) are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Restore purchases is available in Settings so you can unlock Premium on a device signed into the same store account.
We use RevenueCat to validate receipts and maintain entitlement status. RevenueCat’s terms apply to that processing.
The App may use Google Sign-In and Google Drive (optional backup), Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple or Google billing, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. ForgeTech is not responsible for third-party outages, account bans, or changes those companies make.

We may suspend access to paid features or refuse support if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or store rules.
We may issue updates that you must install to keep using the App or Premium. We do not guarantee the App will be available at all times, on every device, or in every country. Store availability, age ratings, and local law may limit access.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is processed and is incorporated into these Terms. Please read it.
If you believe the App infringes your rights, email support.forgetech@gmail.com with enough detail for us to respond.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT JOURNAL DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS. IN THOSE PLACES, DISCLAIMERS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER MANDATORY RIGHTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORGETECH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FORGETECH FOR MOODEN PREMIUM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (EXCLUDING AMOUNTS PAID TO APPLE OR GOOGLE AS STORE FEES IF NOT RECEIVED BY US), AND (B) US $25.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR FRAUD OR FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE WHERE SUCH A LIMIT IS VOID.
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless ForgeTech from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your misuse of the App, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it. Subscriptions continue until cancelled in store settings.
We may stop offering the App or Premium. If we discontinue Premium for a reason other than your breach, store rules on unused subscription time may apply.
Sections that should survive (including 3, 5, 12–16, and 18) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where ForgeTech is established (Shahrah-e-Liaquat, Karachi, Pakistan), excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that:
If you are a business user, exclusive venue will be the courts of ForgeTech’s place of establishment, unless the law requires otherwise.
We do not require binding arbitration in these Terms.

If you use Android, Google’s Play Developer distribution and billing terms apply to distribution and purchases. Family Library and Play refunds follow Google’s policies.
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. For material changes we will update the in-app Terms. If you continue to use the App after the changes take effect, you accept the new Terms, except where the law requires a different process. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel Premium in store settings.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and ForgeTech for the App, together with the Privacy Policy and any store terms that apply.
If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
No joint venture, partnership, or employment is created.

By using Mooden, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, and by using this app you consent to these policies.
